LumièresLaNuit 1st Year Anniversary (English Subtitles)

'After focusing on my live act for about two months I needed a break from my studio routine. It turned out to be very positive and resourcing. Piano Roll was produced in one afternoon, very spontaneously and naturally. It was my first session with the Mellotron. I found this instrument so inspiring as its acoustic tonality can be processed with analog tools, such as analog delays. I created this track using almost only the Mellotron. At the end of the day it made sense to name it Piano Roll as all the melodies and reefs were created using that keyboard.' Roisner

This video aims at presenting the artists and working process behind the LumièresLaNuit (alias LLN) 1st Year Anniversary special Release: Roisner – Piano Roll EP (LLN003) incl. David K remix.

The video also presents LLN's latest soft good: the LLN001-sweater which is a tribute to Gasometric Run (alias Roger Gerressen) 'Lunar Phases' LP (LLN001) and its cubic pattern that was released at the end of 2014.

This video is also the occasion to announce that the next EP to be released on LumièresLaNuit by the end of February is: David K – Wrung Door EP (LLN004). 'Wrung Door' oscillates between cold and warm, deep and groovy atmospheres with a strong industrial touch, whereas Lightly Dark mimics the musical elements of Wrung Door but uses them in a different way in order to guide the listener to a different world. Finally, Broken Swatch is a rather narrative and lyrical track.' David K
