I miss this era of film, the soundtracks were so beautifully curated.

This movie, along with the music, just had a certain vibe or atmosphere to it, and I love it.

I was like 11 or 12 when I bought the soundtrack for this movie and it had a part in changing what I thought music could even be.
Where I lived in Canada, the old Lost in Space show was on TV around 4pm (right when kids get home from school), Monday to Friday. I don't think I missed a single episode. Part of me watched it for the story and for the fact that old American shows were a little more difficult to come by in Canada in the 90's, thereby being a limited quantity and part of me watched it for...well, the camp lol. Needless to say, I was primed for this movie, and even though it featured little to none of the camp I had enjoyed, the darker tone and electronic music (not to mention Heather Graham and Lacie Chabert) was perfect for a pre-teen growing up in the 90's in Canada.
Looking back, I guess I was the target audience hah.

The soundtrack for this film was better than it had any right to be. Late 90s electronica (and Siouxsie) makes everything better.

Though I loved the film, this music actually reminds me of playing multiplayer Quake
