After four years, it's back... with a twist! Featuring a remastered and re-imagined version of the original song and animation, plus a little treat for those of you who like to watch until the end of the credits.

Huge thank-yous to Alicia Michelle, who did a fantastic job remastering, rearranging, mixing, and playing live violin for this track for the 2022 anniversary; to Cody Fullbrook, for lending the delicious and brassy live trombone to the mix; to Andrew Jones, for bringing Henry's crotchety old man voice to life anew; and to Kalei, for her direction and vocal coaching for the remaster!

This nostalgia blast just made my day much better. I remember being obsessed with the original version and now i'll be obssessed with this. It's just as incredible as I remember it.

The original had a lot more "oomph" to it with the more angrier singing, but the new version of some of the lyrics here is an awesome upgrade, and the little preview of the next song to come?! Oh! So cool! I'm happy to see people still care about this fandom, can't wait for more!

This in a way is the real Joey singing to the ink version of Henry, when Joey was still spiteful and angry at Henry for leaving. The lyrics are what brought me to this conclusion.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this, but Bendy's little tap-dance solo was absolute gold. Very well animated and kinda catchy.

I don't know if it's delirium from staying up to this demonic hour of the night or genuine emotions, but seeing this animation that played a huge part in my introduction to the Bendy franchise brought a tear to my eye. I don't know which version I like more, the more relaxed voice or the more raspy voice. They both fit this song quite well.

I ended up watching the original and this one to compare. I’m surprised no one mentioned this, but I love how much more the singing voice matches bendy’s speaking voice this time around (especially with pronunciation of certain words and whatnot). Those vocal skills have definitely grown since then, Hailey! Bravo!

Been away for far too long indeed. This reminds me so well of why I fell in love with Bendy and the Ink Machine. The spirit of the characters, the love poured into the creations by the fans like true artists. I cannot thank you enough for this, it feels like...A Revival.

I listened to the two back to back, the older version had more energy and emotion to it. The newer versions instrumentals sounded cleaner and the vocals sounded more experienced. Both are a joy and I don’t believe one is better than the other, just a preference toward the experience your looking for
