Be careful listening to this advice. I have both and the female is off the hook. Extremely protective of me and wants to protect first and decide if you're friends or foe later. The male has to step in and school her all of the time. I've trained dogs my whole life and these guys are my favorite. But they're not for a beginner.

This dog is amazing! I own a Belgian Malinois female, she weighs 70 lbs and she is very smart and energetic. This breed is like the Formula One of the dog! But this dog is not for everyone, if you spend your days watching TV, forget about it, this dog is not for you. You will need to have plenty of time for them. In my case she is the best dog I have ever had in my entire life.

Our neighbors have a female Malinios. She is a happy dog and very friendly. She is also full of energy and loves to run around on the grass on our backyard.

My male malinois is a mutant!!! About 30" tall and 100 LBS. My husband found him dumped, when he was 3 months old and just skin and bones. Now he is my shadow.

I have 3 Malinios.
1 Male
2 Females
The is VERY protective will attack, but will stop you in your tracks.
He does not bark.
2 Females are exactly the same, except they will bark.
Mainly they will STARE YOU DOWN.
All 3 will protect no question about it.
They have protected kids they do not know. Great dogs!! If you are going to spend time with them!! If not do not get a Malinios. Mine are rescues

Both are amazing dogs, need a firm and gentle hand. Not for just a family part. Need to work and learn constantly.

Oh I’d love to have both. One of each. I can see my husband now. Keeping them in tip top shape 365 days outta the year. But our house would be so very well protected. Can you imagine seeing these two when we open the door?

I have a male one called Turko and my best friend has a female called Marley. They are so cute and a very amazing thing happened to them. MARLEY GAVE BIRTH. She gave birth to 4 puppies. So I took 2 and my bestie took two. I decided to name them Louie and Lica. I'm so happy right now. They are now 9 months old and so adorable😊

My 2 females have more energy than my male.
My female is the dominant one of the 3.
My 10 year old female highest energy of the 3. At 10 everyone who meet my Malinios think she is the puppy!!
