I loved Vincent Bueno's song 'Amen' last year, it was my third favourite of all last years songs. And while this is very different, I am really loving this song too. Austria has been serving up some great songs in recent years.

I totally agree about staging/performance issues with this kind os tracks.
The victorian party stage could possibly work. It wouldn't be forgettable. People will be transported and it will target to family votes which is always key. They somehow needs to make the crowd part of the performance as well. Agree. Sort of Keiino in 2019. That's how people at home can feel the energy as well

I really think they do have the right idea for staging with this video. If they just adapt the video with a background like Il Volo, but with this aesthetic, dancers dressed just like this and a red & black podium with Lum!x and Pia Maria on it, it could work. But I definitely think the space somewhere between Rock Me Amadeus and Madonnas Vogue at the MTV Awards is exactly where they should be.

I personally love this song... this is something i would not skip on Spotify or whatever. But the staging is going to be tricky..
The tried with Darude, but that was pretty much a flop, so i hope they can learn from that, and indeed work with tight camera angles, and stuff.

This is currently in my top 5 but I'm also concerned for the staging. But at the same time I feel like this has a lot of staging potential. Just recreate the aesthetic of the music video. I think the stage design might actually help with that because it has that classy feel to it. Let her just concentrate on her vocals, she doesn't need to move a lot, the dancers could do that. And I wouldn't even be against some wideshots showing the crowd

I'm optimistic. Regardless of their overall quality, Austria's staging has elevated at least their last three songs. If this open gets similarly good staging, it should qualify.

EDM songs often don't do well in Eurovision...the staging is always a struggle, but JOWST managed to place 10th in 2017 so I have faith they can do well!
