Sichan Siv is a former United States ambassador to the United Nations. Born in Cambodia in 1948, he had his worldview suddenly broadened when he saw President Ronald Reagan make a speech on television.
This was significant, because Cambodian schools taught mainly French history; so learning of the existence of a bigger and farther away country was an eye opening experience.

Sichan Siv is also the International bestselling author of the book Golden Bones.
