Everyone know that Linus was held captive, while making this video...

don't lie, you clicked for linus.

So basically only linus knows something that is actually about the topic "8086" and not just building a random PC

Well the only one who actually talked about the 8086 was linus and only briefly in the beginning. What is this supposed to be about?

Linus probably stole couple of cpu's while he was at their HQ

i have been studying 8086/8088 the whole semester. Trust me, talking about it is much more easier than writing code for it

I see Linus. I clicked.

Edit- Thanks for all the likes everyone!

Hahaha Linus is the only one who actually grasped the concept of the conversation

A few seconds i was irritated and not sure if linustt used the intel thumbnail or intel uses linus for... i dont know. But now it all makes sense. Even the white socks in sandals. Awesome!

Was the audio mastered to EBU R128 spec? Usually the best place to master video "podcasts" is around -14dB LUFS instead of the standard -23dB LUFS which is used for films/TV, otherwise people have to turn their device volume up considerably and still have trouble hearing spoken dialogue.

Apologies for the criticism, but it's something that is still not well known by a lot of studio engineers. Had to turn the volume up quite a lot to hear this.

Hope this info helps anyway. Cheers!

"...doing it (streaming)become easier and easier and easier and as the processors advance", Did you mean Ryzen 7?
Without AMD it was still very hard to stream with 4 core or to pay for overpriced 8 core Intel processors, Thanks AMD!

3:25 her "Chest Area" looks like that if Lara Croft back when 8086 was still above 50$

The one in charge of uploading videos was smart enough to put Linus in the thumbnail, so we can at least recognize someone XD

what a great send off. now that ARM pretty much have 98% of the mobile market and the incomming desktop class ARM cpu's coming to market in the next 2 years... 8086, you served us well.

The first processor I used years ago was a 8080 then 8085 and then the 8086, but they were for embedded systems, my first PC had an Intel 80286 and had at most if I recall 1MB of ram with a graphic card with 256K RAM lol.
I think my first HDD was about 10MB to 30MB (can't remember the exact size) but it took up 3 5.25" bays and required its own custom ISA Controller Card.
