Wow! I got chills just seeing the video. Having my mom bail out on my siblings and i was not easy, and seeing my dad sacrifice so much, being mom & dad. 19 years later i know nothing of her, pero gracias a dios my dad found someone who loves him and takes good care of him, and so thankful que el nunca se rindio, and maybe i didnt turn out to be best person, pero si muy independiente, luchona y ver la vida positivamente and one thing for sure, my kids will never have to go thru this because mom will always be there.

I've loved this song since the album came out and the video just brought me to tears 💔
I experienced a similar situation from the daughter's perspective. I was 13 years old and my little sister was only 9. So many people, including myself, fall hard and give up on life after living something so heartbreaking. I began to lose my self esteem and I began to find it harder to trust anyone. Thank god that I found the strength to push forward for the sake of my father and little sister. Today, I am 17 and in May I graduate from high school with 97% of my credits completed for an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. My mother is still in my life but sadly I have lost just about all respect for her. And though I have been able to do good for myself, I will admit that I will most likely seek psychological help in the near future.
To all the people out there who have children, before you act, please think long and hard about how your actions will affect your children. You may think that your child(ren) are young and that they don't know what is going on, but they do. Children see and hear everything that happens around them and they suffer more than anyone else involved.

I feel so forgotten by my husband that there has been many times that i just want to walk out that door but never will i ever leave my babies never... some day i might just go but I don't know where a mother gets the strength to leave their kids behind

My daughter used to listen to this song on a daily for about a year straight before my ex-wife got up and left me for some other guy I guess my daughter knew something that I didn't know the day she left with my kids I set down in my Cutlass listened to it, i Could feel the pain in the lyrics & relate to it hella it was my wake up call that it was truly over between us & my family i struggled so hard to keep together . I just want mi hijos Fabian & Soña daddy loves & misses you chingos not a day goes by that I ain't thinking about you guys...
