My great great grandfather left his small farm in Kentucky and joined the 14 Kentucky Volunteer Infantry in hopes of stopping slavery ! He was shot outside of Atlanta . He was released to go home and later he died from complicated from the injuries . No one said " Thank you" ! His farm struggled to stay afloat ! Over 360, 000 Union Army Soldiers died to end slavery ! Do their familes get to recieve "Reparations" too ? They paid to end slavery with their lives ! 😢
