Looking good, Brie! Can't wait to see how the summer plantings progress. Glad you had a good gathering for the 4th 😊

I am so glad I found your channel. Different zones, mine is 8b. Terrific winds, heat, and virtually no rain. I love your beautiful gardens. I'm grateful for the tree removal clip. I needed to hear your insights. Thank you from California Apple Valley high desert.

You have inspired me to do much more direct sowing, 2 successes so far. So much easier w certain things. I sowed Snow in the summer & Gumphrena on compost & they germinated in no time.

For me here in Indiana 5b it’s the opposite, my tomatoes look pathetic in pots & get white flies, but in the ground they take off. Strawberries I can not get to continue to produce fruit in pots, I don’t know if I’m over watering or what. Just planted 2 out in the garden, they are vining over the mulch, hopefully they will set flowers.

Have you tried Juliet tomatoes? I have been growing them for over 10 years. I find that they survive pretty much anything. They may show some of the same signs of stress that other tomatoes show in my zone 7a when we get tons of rain, but they keep right on producing and growing until fall.

Happy Independence Day! I’m in GA with maters in the ground - planted way late a few weeks ago. Thanks for the heads up on southern wilt. Fingers crossed your front border maters make it 💖

What is growing on the brick behind the strawberry? Is it the same thing as around the palm @10:51 ? If not, what is that?

Would growing the non-grafted tomatoes in straw bales address wilt/nematodes?
