The stunning effect of layering Alcohol ink in resin: Vibrant Rainbow and ocean colors

So I've been asked if I would do some strictly alcohol ink coasters and here is my version of alcohol ink coasters where you flip the coaster over to see the finished design :-) from the bottom. This technique is so stunning. The way you mix the color gives a textured and lovely effect. I will be doing a set of standard size 3.9 inch coasters using this design to show how it looks on a smaller scale. Enjoy!

The heat from that torch is going to shorten the life of your molds. It also causes the resin to start sticking to the edges. Better to use a heat gun. Beautiful work.

I’m going to try this. If you add a bead or a small metal ball bearing in the jar it will make it easier to shake the colors

The first layer looks very rose like in the finished coasters. So pretty!! Idk what I'm doing wrong but so far i haven't been able to get the alcohol ink to move much. Too chilly maybe? I'm a beginner, so lots of time to get it right and dial it in! Thank you for your videos!!

I love this. They came out beautiful. I did not see in the list of supplies the little caps you put on the bottles of ink with the white in them. The spouts look much smaller the ones that come with the regular alcohol ink.
