Turns out she had stage 4 lung cancer and it ripped her from me. listening to this I just feel sad man. I miss the old days of being able to hear her soothing voice and the hugs she gave me. I know the lead melody is using notes from other chords but it's crazy how this song is primarily based around just two chords and doesn't get repetitive after a couple measures. I could listen to these arpeggiated Am7 and Fmaj7 chords for such a long time without my brain/ ear wanting a chord change.
