honestly i can imagine Chayanne having trouble with these kicks and not just because of skill...
when phil does it i can imagine his wings acing as a counter-balance so he can put more force into the kick without worrying about falling over
meanwhile Chay has wings and a tail for balance so he not only has to use his wings as a counterbalance, but also his tail, which would be slightly harder because his tail would probably want to go in the other direction (same as his leg)

I don’t want to bring the mood down or anything (and spoilers for Philza’s lore) but here’s something I always think about when I watch this video:

It’s nice to think that Chayanne was happy being taught to fight by Philza. Happy to learn this knowledge from someone he looks up to so much. But sad to think that Chayanne was later forced to use those same skills against Philza (Enderking). It must’ve been hard for him.
