In relation to the meeting of President Biden and President Marcos, as a Filipino, there is only one thing that I request that should be done and accomplished as fast as possible: the construction of the EDCAs in Cagayan and Isabela. They should be put-up at once. We should lost no time in constructing them. They will surely serve as great deterrence to enemy country/ies. Establish them immediately, US! Long live US! Long live P.I.

defense commitment is iron clad... but as the older marcos had said that while the philippines is being under attacked, the us will still have to debate whether or not to come to the philippines defense... the MDT does not call for an automatic us response... that's the problem... the us still has to consult its congress whether or not to commit to the philippines defense...

Historically speaking...The Philippines should have been another State of the US just like Hawaii and Guam because they Paid Spain 20Million (if my memory serves me right) to buy the Country...but they were kind enough (the US) to give us back our independence and to top that they actually did not leave us all alone and signed a Mutual Defense Treaty just to make sure that when time comes (like what is happening right now) when a foreign Country is threatening the Philippines The US will have the means of coming to its Aid....

Pres Biden will send a first of its kind Presidential Trade and Investment Mission to the Philippines.
Another good opportunity for the Philippines.
The Government can use this as part of its narrative to invite foreign investments into the Philippines and promote Filipino businesses.
