I am a mom who works outside the home, and I just want to say that what you do as a SAHM / WFHM / homemaker (or whatever you want to call it) is SUCH hard work too. Also. When thinking about “what this channel is.” For me it’s been a window into how a healthy family should look. I’ve learned so much from you in the past year. From meal planning to recipes, to seeing how you let your kids play as you clean. I seriously didn’t realize this was an option 😅 what I’m trying to say is, you make people better by leading by example. You make motherhood seem less scary and bring company to many who need it. Delilah, my favorite videos are thrift videos (I feel like that is a passion/love of yours) and the sit down laundry talks and home decor/reno. Honestly, I wouldn’t lose interest in your videos if you don’t show your children in them.

It’s interesting to hear your perspective on not wanting to share too much of your children. It’s also amazing that you’re even talking about it bc a lot of other family vloggers don’t even bat an eye.

I used to watch a TON of family vloggers when I was younger but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized how problematic(not to mention morally questionable) it is to profit off of videos of your children without their consent. “Would I want this to have been shared about me as a kid?” is a great question!

I think you’re valid in taking a step back and reanalyzing what your values are. You really should think about finding ways to diversify your income in a way that isn’t so intense (personal and sharing a LOT). There are a ton of ways to “share” without over sharing. Blogging, IG, etc. Also there’s no shame in growing in the type of things you talk about / share.

I totally understand how you feel, the internet is a scary place and our instinct as mothers is to protect our children. I know you’re going to do what’s best for them, don’t think about what others will think and let that hold you back from doing what feels right in your heart. I know how lonely and stressful and draining it can get to be home alone with kids all day and especially after being used to having help for so long. I can only tell you that time will pass, kids will get older, and for now you need to reach out and find help from whoever is offering it or move closer to family if you have the option. I know you’re gonna keep thinking and something wonderful is going to come from it. Wishing you the best always ❤️ I will always support your channel and you no matter what.

Love this! We moved to acrage 4 years ago when I was pregnant with my 3rd. So scary moving with the kids so little. But God put it on our hearts to move. And he put so many things in place to provide this place, and so many "blocks" on other places that looked nice. And we are loving it. The land, the pond, and now we keep chickens. It's been a real blessing. And I think sometimes what it would be like if we didn't listen and ignored his call for us. I'm so glad I faced my fear of change!

As I get older (26 now) I find that working with my hands gives me a sense of purpose and is very therapeutic. It calms me down and gives me a tangible goal. Gardening, cooking, dishes, making had given me peace

Aww Delilah, I want you to know that your channel has kept me sane and entertained while I take care of my 2 month baby as a SAHM. I’m home all day and don’t get the opportunity to build friendships but your channel helps me feel like I have a friend on my living room tv ☺️

Delillah, you are teaching parents how to be better parents....that is are literally improving children's childhoods, which means happier, more well adjusted adults in our world. I totally understand and respect your concern about privacy for your family, but don't ever wonder what you are doing, or if it matters...You are truly one of the most wonderful parents I have ever seen, and we all know it's authentic.

I have a video idea for you :) I‘d love to see a „1st time vs 3rd time mom“ – like when mothers have their first babies they are so cautious and afraid of doing stuff wrong, but when they have their second or third they do so many things differently. What does a baby really need, not handling it like a glass puppet anymore etc ☺️

Please know you are a great mom and you know how to protect your children!!! Keeping a video diary of them and influencing and encouraging other families by sharing yours is a gift to others!!! You never show to much of your kids and are doing a great job at protecting them from to much of the internet!
