Respect to PES for lowering the price because they basically just updated the squads. Every year FIFA charges a full price to update the squads.

He didn’t emphasise how different the gameplay is from last year. So much quicker, more responsive and enjoyable. I’m loving it.

Just for anyone wondering why they did this:

PES 2022 is moving to Unreal Engine rather than the Fox Engine from Metal Gear Solid that they’ve been using for the last 5-6 years. It’s meant to be the biggest leap forward for PES in a LONG time.

Also, don’t be fooled. PES 2020/21 are both solid options. FIFA has much better modes/features, but PES has better gameplay on the whole. If you’re on PC, you can find INCREDIBLE mods for this game, which include kits, stadiums, graphic overlays, etc. On PS4, you can at least upload the right kits/teams and stuff as well.

Its not 100% the same, its more fluid, bit sharper, gameplay lot better than 2020

Anyone else thinking why is this review so negative and one sided? Like I don't see this over analysing and stuff for FIFA. "Potato Headed faces" man really? The player face models have been great!

Gameplay is more fluid, responsive, and enjoyable than pes 2020.

This looks like someone wrote the script before playing the game briefly to have enough footage to run in the background. "YAWN IT'S A SEASON UPDATE. SAME GAME THEN. LET ME WRITE ABOUT THAT." Uh, no. the game plays significantly differently, better than any datapack. Somethings are still broken, but that's not a review, that's a lazy writeup.

PES 2021 is one of the best Football games we have seen. Sadly it is dead and EA have won the battle.

Dude, you need to play on higher difficulty levels to make the A.I. move realistically. There're players standing and watching, because that's the AI of the easier difficulties.
Is this the same gaming site that got caught reviewing Ace Combat 7 on easy controls?

I was ready to pre order fifa 21 when I realized I was addicted into ultimate team. I made a team of icon players worth millions of coins to think I was going to start again from scratch on the new game. No. I'm taking a break on football games

I don't know what difficulty levels the reviewers used, but in the highest difficulty levels the AI always have better movements and always try to impact the match in a meaningful ways and not just stand around mindlessly. The AI responds really well with the tactical setup used during the match preparation too.

Probably the most important update to this edition is that it makes me feels like I can dribble past my opponents again, even though I failed it still satisfying

It's ironic that they're giving pes hate for releasing a season update when fifa has been doing that for years and charging ridiculous prices.
