If and and when Tesla starts to advertise, it will be NOTHING like the traditional OEM advertising of trucks going over rocks and dust while displaying tiny fine print text required by law to protect the manufacturer from false advertising. They will most likely advertise in short, concise to the point 15 second ads educating potential buyers about the growing and bulletproof Supercharger Network and charging from home, the minimum maintenance of every EV, the low and stable cost of electricity compared to gasoline, the insanely high safety of Tesla vehicles, the incredibly valuable and convenient over the air updates, the growing opportunities of Tesla Insurance, the amazing chance of converting your aging roof into a solar energy source with solar shingles and a Powerwall in your garage to store excess energy and finally Autopilot and Full Self Driving software. Basically highlighting all the USPs that Tesla brings to the table.

As to Elon's less than popular stances on issues.
You may remember one of the greatest architects in the world.... Frank Lloyd Wright. From all accounts he was an absolute as***le diva to work with. Yet everyone admits that it was worth working with him because he was so brilliant and he made astoundingly beautiful and iconic buildings.
Elon is similar, you take the good with the bad. The good everyone of all stripes is in agreement with. The "bad" only some people are in disagreement with due to a temporary cultural mindset that will soon completely change... just as they always do.
However, Elon's creations and work will endure for centuries to come.
My advice to your network is to let Elon alone, focus on his work, and get in line to get some of the new ad money that Tesla might spend. Beating your breasts, defending a temporary cultural mindset will get you no where. If you don't see that this is temporary then you are no students of history.

F- series owners will remain loyal, until they realize they're paying much more, while recieving considerably less. Hopefully they can reinvent what it means to be Ford Tough, otherwise it could spell hardship for a lot of families.
