Journalist Mukesh Chandrakar Murdered After His Report Exposes Corruption In Chhattisgarh Project

33-year-old journalist Mukesh Chandrakar's body was found in a septic tank in the compound belonging to a contractor in Chhattisgarh on 3rd January. This, after Mukesh exposed alleged irregularities in a project involving a road contractor. Mukesh has worked with media houses like NDTV in the past. Until recently, he was running his own YouTube channel called Bastar Junction that had more than 150,000 subscribers. Several senior journalists condemned Mukesh's murder and urged the state government to not spare the guilty.

In a social hierarchy, justice will not be served to the ground level people unless and untill the top tier is clean.
In todays India, everybody knows the top most powerful people are not clean, so unless we try to make that happen, all other emphasis will be futile.
