What I do for the majority of the bundles is I just wait for the traveling merchant to scam me out of the items that I need.

You cannot get hay from deluxe coops and barns, this is because they will automatically fill so you shouldn't need to do that, so if you're worried about that then maybe try getting more wheat, this could get you your 10 hay
