Getting pregnant immediately after delivery, medically speaking, a pregnant lady when she delivers she passes through a phase called as puerperium and this is usually 6 weeks duration and during this period the uterus comes back to its position as it was before pregnancy and usually what I have seen is rarely anybody gets pregnant within that particular period except something that we have seen in literature I have not seen this in my 30 years of practice that a lady becoming pregnant before this 6 weeks period.
