Scenery Making - 1/2000th scale for 1/600 wargaming

Hello everyone,
Well, since my last video I zoomed over the 100 subscribers mark - so thanks to all my subscribers, I appreciate your interest and support!
Welcome back to my channel, MiniatureWargamingNZ, and this, another video – this time on scenery making for what you see in my 3mm miniature gaming videos for A Fistful of TOWS 3.
This video gives you some insights into the process and materials used to make the scenery in my other videos.
I've had people comment that it looks like an aerial map, so I guess it would work well for air combat (and air strike) games. I've considered selling it (at least the buildings and autobahns), but I'm not yet - I'm working on another project for that - watch this space.
I used Evergreen styrene, although Plastruct is another brand I’m aware of (and have some limited items from their range). I purchased silicone mould making materials from a local special effects store no longer in business (but it’s now available on the net via Barnes, the manufacturer), along with Klean Klay (a US product) and urethane.
Both the silicone and urethane products are 2-part resin / epoxy type materials. These carry some specific hazardous material warnings for handling and safety - don't use this material if you're not equipped to handle it and taking all the necessary precautions - you have been warned.
Adding to these items were various hobby / craft shop supplies including MDF placemats / coasters, ice block sticks as well as vinyl paint (which actually came all the way from the UK from when I lived there, from a store called Hobbycraft).
I hope you enjoy the video – please ask any questions, I do get to my comments, just sometimes it takes me a while.
I used OpenShot to create the content.
Please note: I am not commercially associated with Barnes, Klean Klay, Hobbycraft, Evergreen and any other products or businesses mentioned both here and in the video.
With MiniatureWargamingNZ, I aim to produce a range of videos like this, and more, via this Youtube channel. I will also be producing a range of videos on 20th Century conflict board games (and possibly others).
Please like and subscribe to see more like it, and click the bell to be notified of new content. Feel free to leave comments below - especially if you want to see any specific content.
See you back here soon, and may the dice always roll in your favour.
