To clarify one point made in this video, while using strength is counter-productive for improving ones Wing Chun skill or power generation, being fit and physically strong is still desirable from a health and wellbeing perspective and helps avoid injury when practicing applying Wing Chun in a dynamic environment such as sparring or fighting. The point Mark is making is that relaxation is not aspirational, but a prerequisite for learning to harness the movement and rotation of our centre of mass to generate force.
