Men in the United States are dying earlier now than anytime in the last 27 years. Men’s life expectancy is 73.5 years compared to women’s 79.3.
An upward trend from 2010 to the pandemic has created a gap between men and women of 5.8 years, the largest since 1996. Men die at higher age adjusted mortality rates than women in all causes, except one, and that’s Alzheimer's disease. So what can be done?
