I’ve been playing the series religiously since FM16 but I always like to watch these kinds of videos in case there’s something I’ve missed, something that I don’t use that I should, or anything of the sort. Really excited to get on with the save I always do first, Manchester United.

You can select more nations at the start and turn them in 'view-only' instead of 'playable'. That will increase the speed.

Christ, this is deep!! I've been playing CM01/02 exclusively since it was released.
I dabbled with CM4 and the very first version of Football Manager but for me CM01/02 was the perfect balance.
My laptop has since decided to stop working but to be fair, after about 20 years I think it was well over due retirement ...
I've realised that FM23 is on Xbox PC pass which I can use on my lads lap top, I think it's going to take me a long time to get used to this ...

Kev, looking at your pc specs there does that graphics card allow you to run FM23 in 4k? as need to replace my PC and was gonna go with Ryzen 7 16gb ram but thought of getting a nice large monitor and found a nice 4k monitor to go with it but, i only play FM so dont want to splash too much on graphics card
