I love that Byron seems to recognise Clive straight away but clearly thinks his eyes are playing tricks on him at frist its not until Clive acts out the play that he is fully convinced

You can't help but feel for these characters who suffered because of one woman's betrayal. Clive and Jill may see themselves as monsters but to me they're just victims forced in situations that they had no control over. Their actions under coercion may have painted them as monsters but their hearts never became that of monsters.

I have literally no personal reason for why the part where Clive has to convince his uncle he's real would emotionally affect me, but it did absolutely get to me. The next-level face animations in this game really drives it home with Byron's reaction too. Beautiful scene.

When I saw this scene I was so happy that Clive still had a relative alive who truly loved him besides his brother, the scene was so touching

I love this scene so much. Gruff Clive being goofy and proving he's not just edgy, him getting to have a part of his family back again (and Jill), and just the overwhelming charisma in the room

Byron's tone of voice is what sells this scene. And I will not lie: it made me emotional. He was more than willing to commit bloody murder to preserve Clive's memory.

But seeing him drop his guard entierly when faced with his own and breaking down when Clive proves that he is indeed Clive is what got me. The man loves his nephew and it shows.

This moment is both funny and endearing. Clive is not edgy and detached, and Byron is not just another noble lord.

Its like Clive meet his father again in the form of his uncle.

And Jill was like “WTH happens here”

I don’t know how to explain it but this scene has such an SNES era Final fantasy aura to it I like it

6:35 "Right then, who shall we pillage first? Rutherford fetch me my Cutlass! This will be fun."

Is my favorite lines in the whole game; at least up until this point.

After everything you've seen to get to this point, *this* was a welcomed relief.

In a game filled with darkness and tragedy, it amazes me how scenes like this shine bright.
