Pull slack properly. When you push your hips back youre pulling it but you lose the tension as soon as you bring your hips back to the bar. If you were able to hold the slack pull your starting position would be even better

u are lucky u have a deadlift bar xD, my gym only have regular ones, and im pretty tall so i cant do sumo without adding two clips on each side before adding a plate to make it longer lol
