Everytime I try to do this I IMMEDIATELY need the outer packaging for some life threating reason. Every. Single. Time.

Ok but what happens when you forget the name of what you bought and you don't have the packaging anymore? What happens when someone comes over and they have allergies and they don't know what's in the food so they can't eat anything? And what happens when you don't know the expiry date or forget how to use a certain product?

It seems like making more work for yourself, and who needs that? Plus, any information on the original container is lost, like the name of the product, the cooking instructions, and nutritional information.

Looks really nice…but I’d choose to repurpose glass containers like salsa jars that come with food instead of buying more plastic containers, just so we can throw away plastic packaging and put them in more plastics that we buy to look nice. 🌎

Don’t forget that you lose the “use by date” when you remove from original packaging.

On the other hand, why buy plastic and other containers when the product already has a container? Looks good, but at what cost to your finances and the environment? 🤔

I like this idea but what do you do about the expiration dates ?

Just don't open all the diapers if you have multiple boxes! You may need to exchange them because baby outgrows it before you can use them.

Don't forget, when you do this, add a label with the expiration

Getting rid of secondary packaging can be OK. But removing primary packaging can badly affect the product...you emptied a small sachet of what looked like Matcha is a container!
