Pretty damn good! Would've liked to have seen how scud race performed with that wheel since it's a nightmare with a gamepad.

"I didn't see a lot of driving cabinets in my county."
Last arcade cabinet I saw in the "country" where I live was ~1997😢

Surely that PC setup has WiFi, or USB connectors to connect a Keyboard, which means you then can get into Mame and adjust the sensitivity of the steering wheel etc etc, and perhaps add the dpad controls into Mame as well.
Or whatever emulators it uses, probably Retroarch, which you can tinker with, as long as you know, what your doing.

7:29 Datona is definitely the Model2 emulator version. It has a distinctive issue with the audio where a short engine audio sample gets repeated. The sound resulting is like a "WhamWhamWhamWhamWham..." instead of a more fluid continuous
Not many pay attention to it, but I am looking for a way to raise the music and lower the engine sound, which I could not find yet. Interestingly enough, there is a rumor about the original developer of this closed source emu, having been hired by SEGA a long time ago. So no hope for any of this getting fixed for now.

Just in case there is a Power Light and a Mode button on the wheel... The Logitech wheel for classic Xbox and PS2 had a sensitivity feature built-in, you held the mode button and after 5 seconds the light would start flashing and while keeping the mode button pressed as the light flashed pressing one of the 4 buttons A, B, X or Y would change the sensitivity. The faster the light flashes the more sensitive the wheel. Sorry if your wheel doesn't have this, it was just a thought and just in case.

What I don't get is going through all that effort with a relatively flush finish, only to not integrate and inverse mount the pedals behind the kickplate.

I've got a Centi cabinet that I adapted to use a Windows PC in it and it's 2 player with 3 buttons. I've got a really old Ferrari steering wheel and pedals and wondered if it would be possible to use them with it and looking at that, I'm thinking something like a stand with holder might work but I'm not sure it will even work with the PC as it's so old. That's a nice machine and I really do like those steering wheel setups and considered getting a G920 setup but my wife thinks there's not enough room to use it and the cabinet itself does stick out quite a bit more than the one you have there, so part of me is thinking to design my own but I want to be able to have it so it can be quickly changed to use either the steering wheel and pedals or the actual joysticks and buttons, but I'm still struggling to work out how to do it. I thought a swivel type system where the steering wheel can be turned up and stored in the machine itself when not in use so the joystick and buttons are there for default but I guess it's going to be a long way off, if at all possible.

Thanks for your videos, I really enjoy seeing them. Have you thought about doing a compilation of the top 10 best devices for emulation, deciding the value of it and how many games stutter etc?

You can adjust the sensitivity of the wheel in the Logitech app, I recommend turning it right down...

You can fix sensitivity in the Logitech wheel settings window for individual games but have to create a profile per game .

Very nice review

That dashboard front pane looks awful compared to the seat and the rest which looks pretty decent

The way to do this is put a pc with 16gb ram and a hood graphics card

To play ps3/4 games and teknoparrot

Aside from that it’s same thing that buystuff store sells a for $200

there's a ffb mod for outrun 2006, don't know if it would work with that board though.

Racing cabinets are nice but what you can do with those cabinets you can buy a desktop PC that can play most of all the games but will take up less space and it can cost less but can also cost as much or even more but it is according to what you get in a gaming desktop PC.

that's hat i thought, right? sensitivity should be changed on a per game basis with such a high quality wheel rigt?

Looks like you need to raise the wheel rotation. It seems very snappy.

The price of these is crazy. Clearly not worth half the asking price.

What frontend is this?
I've got an empty driving cab that I've put a ps4 and g923 into.
Setting up a pc with just driving games would be infinitely better

How could you do a video about a car racing cabinet without showing Outrun? Yellow card.
