First Time in SPAIN (Bilbao & La Coruña on a Cruise)

We have finally arrived in Spain!! After all these years we are ticking off this huge bucket list by exploring La Coruna and Bilbao on a cruise.

Our first port of call in Spain was hopping off at the cute little town of La Coruna where the sleepy village was closed for the day - we went for a walk up to the Tower of Hercules - an ancient roman lighthouse still being used thousands of years later.

Next up we headed to Bilbao where we tried our first Spanish tortilla (Spanish omelette) before heading off to to see Dragonstone from Game of Thrones aka Gaztelugatxe - an islet in the Basque countryside.

We then headed into the town of Bilbao to try some Spanish tapas for heading back onto the ship for some more relaxation.

Bilbao is one of the most amazing cities i have ever known.

Spain is probably my favorite European country. For me, the best way to experience it is to pick a city and just stay there for a while. Of course, you can also do some day trips out to nearby cities. I recommend the southern cities. Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba and my favorite is Ronda!

Did you really enjoy in Bilbao and Gaztelugatxe (Dragonstone)? Great, that zone in the north of Spain as you called is also known as Basque Country. You should come back when you can, there are lot of wonderful places more tu see

The Guggenheim museum in Bilbao is a must visit, I was in Spain earlier this month and I’ve never seen anything like it before.

You need to go back to Spain and visit Algorta, a town near Bilbao, with beaches and montain🧡

Spain is my favorite country! I lived in Mallorca for 5 months and it is great to visit, lots of beautiful towns, great hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Another city I love in Spain is Sevilla.

Spain is on my bucket list since my first trip got cancelled back in 2015 was suppose to be a grad trip but someday I look forward to go there and explore all parts of Spain I can.

Seville& Barcelona are beautiful cities
Mallorca has unreal beaches and stunning scenery if you come away from the tourist traps

You should visit Cadiz, Gordoba, Granada, Sevilla& Barcelona. I took a roadtrip throug Andalusia and it was AMAZING!
