Lok Sabha Polls 2024: 2nd Phase Polling Today; Here's All You Need To Know

The upcoming second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections 2024, is all set to take place tomorrow, April 26th. This phase will see voters from 88 Lok Sabha constituencies across 13 states and Union Territories exercising their democratic right.
Notable regions include all 20 seats in Kerala, 14 in Karnataka, and 13 in Rajasthan, 8 each in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, 6 in Madhya Pradesh, 5 each in Bihar and Assam, 3 each in Chhattisgarh and West Bengal and 1 each in Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur are going for polls in the second phase.
Back in 2019, the parties now forming the Opposition INDIA bloc and the ruling NDA secured 61 and 23 seats respectively out of the constituencies participating in the upcoming second phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Additionally, the undivided Shiv Sena clinched 4 seats, while the BSP secured 1 seat. Looking at the vote share, the NDA garnered 50.73% of the votes, whereas the INDIA bloc captured 41.94%.
