USCIS PACKET RETURNED / REJECTED DUE TO PAYMENT ERROR | Tips on How to Resubmit

In today's video let's talk about what to do if you've received the following rejection notice from USCIS: "The payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. Please review the Form Instructions for free information. Please resubmit the application/petition package with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page."

This happens frequently and is not a reason to give up! Here are my tips on how to resubmit your rejected applications. I also talk about what can you do if your medical exam I-693 was opened or is missing.

I would like to add - large credit card transactions( above $1000) may also get flagged by the credit card company resulting in decline in payment and package getting retuned. It happened to me. Thanks for your videos, they are really helpful.

DO NOT send the G-1450 and a check with your application, mine was rejected for having 2 forms of payment

so frustrating, i literally let US Bank know ahead of time that the transactions were coming and to not flag them as fraud and it still got declined anyways. lesson learned, only pay for government filing fees with money orders from now on

Hi! Thank you so much for making this video! My case was rejected by the same issue. Bank rejected payment due to possible fraud transaction. My question to you is, do I need to resign the application again? Or just mail it back with the original signature pages with previous date? Thank you!

Fyi - I did fill out the G1450 with credit card information and my company put a stop because was a large amount. Now going to change to check.

If your medical exam is within one year you don’t have to reseal it. You don’t even have to rearrange the documents. Just fix what you have to fix, take out what you want or add what you want to add and send it back the same way it came. That’s how they like it to be so don’t mess it up.

We got denied because we had a check for one application and we’re trying to pay with a card for the other applications. Now we’re just going to resend it with one form of payment across two cards.

Hi, Our I-131 and I-765 returned. Here's the Rejection Notice from USCIS.
"The payment amount is incorrect. Please resubmit the application/petition package with the appropriate fees."

My question is do we have to redo the forms and evidence, OR keep it as is and send it with the appropriate fee's?
People keep saying don't be stupid and read the papers. For me we're dealing with the USCIS. They don't know how little mistakes can turn to REJECTION/DENIED!

ps. biometrics has been scheduled.
