Identity. How do you identify?

This question was the foundation to the start of our documentary which captured research from our four unique interviewees.

The term diaspora comes from an ancient Greek word meaning "to scatter about." And that's exactly what people of a diaspora do - they scatter from their homeland to places across the globe, spreading their culture.

The Latin American diaspora refers to the dispersion of Latin Americans out of their homelands in Latin America and the communities subsequently established by them across the world.

Selina and I designed this presentation as an aid to our documentary in order to provoke thoughtful engagement and participation from our audience.

We also reflect and help make those connections from our own perspectives and lived experiences.
