‘Blaga’s Lessons’; first trailer for Karlovy Vary premiere

Stephan Komandarev’s suspense drama 'Blaga’s Lessons' world premieres at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

It is the story of a retired, recently widowed teacher, played by Elie Skorcheva, who falls victim to a phone scam that robs her of her life savings. Her life turns upside down when she realises that there’s no way of gaining her money back until she receives an alluring, yet suspicious offer for work.

Watched the movie at 28 th IFFK. Such a beautiful movie. Thought provoking and captivating movie. From beginning till end they could maintain the suspence and went beyond the expectations. The writer and director never went through common perceptions or story plots.
Absolutely amazing and worth watching.

The acting of the lead character is worth mentioning. She portrayed all the emotions diligently.

Can somebody tell me how it ended, I caught this at a film festival. But had to leave during the last 5 minutes due to a phone call. So now I’m just stuck at a cliffhanger
