He sure would have made a great president. Maybe if there's a next time he can jump in sooner because I'd love for an opportunity to actually vote for him

I admire Michael Bennett so much. He is a shining example of what is best about our country. I would vote for him if he ever ran for President.

It should be illegal for deep fakes to be made of living people without written consent of the subject.

The dangers of AI have been known for decades. But when demagogues keep dividing us for their benefit, and people keep supporting them, what are the chances of establishing a rational approach to it?

Someone should tell the Senator that the interviewer's name is Mika, not Mirika

Paying attention to Musk? LOL, why? Tesla can't even get their own Autonomous driving to work without major bugs.

A bipartisan move to expand the federal government, imagine that.

Yeah, because a new government agency would solve the problem of AI (which isn't even a problem yet). And Elon Musk saying something just makes me want to ignore it.

This genius from my home state is the last person you want to talk to about anything intelligent 🙄

One might say that AI needs to stay in its infancy or be destroyed to save humanity. If not, it will become aware.

I am on the other side of the fence on this one. I understand that people can use A.I. to aid them in crimes like robo call scams and such but ultimately it is a human committing the crime using a tool. Just like bank robbers of the past cutting their way into a safe with a torch the answer wasn't to outlaw or regulate the torch or it's manufacturers. It is our responsibility to safe guard ourselves from vulnerabilities that human criminals exploit using A.I.

How do you plan to guard against involving the morally-challenged weirdos in the academic community who triggered the pandemic and think nothing of engineering dangerous new viruses?

The only thing I came away from this video is, the sure knowledge that neither of these two people have the faintest clue what AI is or how it works. It's so much fun to listen to ignoramuses postulate about the unknown, like listening to couple of drunk frat boys,
