C STUDENTS- Trailer

So for those of you who saw that Update video in their subscriptions and just decided "It's not Knuckles VS Applejack! I don't wanna watch it!" and just ignored it, I canceled the original "Seniors" web series (after one episode), and am revising the entire show with this: C Students!

First of all, you may have noticed that James and Daniel have been fused together to make August, Cubix and Larry have been fised together to make Kevin, and Penny is just Penny. Well, I realized that focusing on 7 characters would be WAAAAAAAAAAA(one month later)AAAAAAY to much work in terms of writing. Besides, the triangle is the most stable shape. So here we have Penny, August, and Kevin. The Yakko, Wakko, and Dot of this series. You can probably guess Kevin's personality from this trailer. August is meant to be the most normal one of the 3. As for Penny, well, yeah she'll be the nicest and smartest of the trio, but trust me, I'm not writing her as a one note character.

After becoming a much better caster since Cancer Crusaders, I've found WAY better voice actors... one of them being a VA you all probably know and love, CubixFails. He was the most competent one of the Seniors cast, plus me and him are like as "modern day pen pals" as you can get, so I couldn't just drop him all together. Plus, as it turns out, he can sing pretty well, and that's gonna come in handy for this new series.

As for the new female voice actresses, for Penny and a supporting character that I will reveal at a later date, I got the lovely AwkwardMarina. I recently discovered her and after seeing how talented, funny, and... well... awkward she is, I figured she's absolutely perfect for this show. Some of you may know her as the creator of "Anthropology"... so you KNOW she can sing insanely well!

As I mentioned in the update video, the series will pretty much have the same tone in terms of humor, writing, and animation. It'll just have these new characters and a much better story. So for those of you who are so conservative that you refuse to accept change, don't worry, you'll find someone who finds you attractive... and also don't worry, I'm not changing that much. And everything I AM changing, I'm making better.

So that's about it. I hope you're looking forward to this as much as I am. at the time I'm writing this descption, I'm like 3 and a half minutes done with the pilot episode... but I still have a LOOOOOOOO(you get the point)OOOOONG way to go before it's done. So please be patient. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. :)

Honestly, this had so much potential. James had his own personal issues, which I’ll admit, he shouldn’t of utilized in his artwork, but C Students could’ve been huge for him. The characters were likable, they each had their own faults which made them more human than cartoony, and I would’ve loved to see the whole ride of this. I never did think I’d see them outside the pilot episode, until James used them in one of his final animations, showing them in the future, slightly older, fresh out of high school. Showed them suffering through issues he had, as well as all artists in general. I don’t expect him to come back, just saying I enjoyed his animations, his comedy style, the realism to it, and hope there’s something I can find that will be just as enjoyable

I actually prefer this series over Seniors. I find the characters are a tad bit more complex and can be expanded on better than the previous ones. I also like the audio and voices better (some characters I couldn't hear very well in Seniors and certain voices didn't feel very fitting for the characters). I'm rather excited to see this continue.

This is awesome. As much as I loved seniors. I understand why u had to cut the show ;-; but glad ur coming back with C-students. I'm interested in the James and Daniel fusion C: and I Hope the fusion between Cubix and Larry goes well cuz I really loved cubix's personality xD 'horny freak' heh...gotta love Cubix GOOD LUCK!

The lack of dialog in this promo actually seemed to add a unique depth to the characters that you could simply tell by their expressions and such. Good job and good luck on the new aspiration.

what if there were two shows? C Students is one, and Seniors is the other? I mean, it's not like the characters in C Students are going to be EXACTLY the same as the ones in Seniors anyway! so, aside from that meaning double the work and making sure that one series doesn't copy the other, which is pretty much what every animator (except for Seth Mcfarlane) does anyway, I don't see any problem with just producing BOTH series!

These ARE the Seniors videos. He just got rid of some of the characters. Don't worry; he said it was just a REDUX of Seniors. He even referred to it as "Seniors with a New Coat of Paints." He is using the best characters (not many people liked Larry and him "recording with a toaster, " and I don't even remember anyone talking ever about Minnie).
Just to answer your question, he is NEVER doing Seniors again. Sorry.
