This isn't new. In the 70's and 80's the meme was middle managers in their 20s and 30s putting their life savings into bottle cap stocks because a friend at the golf course knew a guy who's uncle said, "Think about all the bottles of soda you drink. Every bottle needs a bottle cap." Today it's just super charged bc you don't need to drive all the way to the golf course and pay $3000/year for a memberships to get terrible investing advice.

Because they don't listen to the Fed, Fed will not let interest rates go up until there is an inclusive employment, not just the unemployment rate in general.
