the only Strat I’ve played that I really loved was the American Elite, probably due to the noiseless pickups, compound radius fretboard, and versatile S-1 switch

I think the two-tone burst wasn't available on Standards because they usually come in three-tone, but now you get an small extra choice of Stratty Strat paint option
