Disney tone and technique + TMYLM ease = Force to reckon with

People ignore the fact that this era is the most consistent she’s ever been. Hitting her highest notes A5-Bb5 !! Her lowest C#3!. Improved head voice!! Insane ease!! And to the people who prefer Demi era, her voice was in horrible condition. The whole era. Until Jingle Ball 2014.

1. Disney because her tone was actually enjoyable and pleasant and she was pushing like shes taking a shit.

2 tmylm- her tone is more coarse now but I love the amount of ease and comfortability she has in her upper range the lightened mix with less pushing is cute.

Her vibrato still has me like...girl

Disney era for sure, intact tone, muscular freedom, more balanced mix trough the middle belts, full potencial to be a vocalist, in this era she had a lot of good belts even with a short tessitura and no stamina. She was promissing.

Something you all should take on count is that Demi had her tonsils removed back in 2013 I think, and that changed her voice quite a lot.

obviously, she has way more ease now but that’s not gonna change the fact that those notes are still strained. i really prefer her pre-2014 tone over the tell me you love me era + her resonance back

Early 2013 (when she wasn't sick) is always going to be my favorite in terms of tone. I do appreciate that she's exploring her head voice now though. Great video!

It's so weird that people consider Demi era her worst vocally but I haven't heard a supported sustained C#5 from her like this one at 2:59 for so long.

Everything before mid 2013 won in terms of technique, i hope we see resonant belts from her again but i doubt it :/ her tone was really nice in 2011-2013 and her placement and mix in her upper belts is at it’s best now. It was also pretty good in the unbroken era

The Disney era is for me the best, talking about her tone and her music, after that she became too pushy. But she still sounds beautiful when she resonates 💕

tmylm could be the best era, lows, head, mix, almost consistent support in C#5, if she get less throaty and resonate more will be AMAZING

Im Just gonna be that person who honestly loves them all her voice now is crazy powerful, seems to have more confidence in her singing, waaaay more vocal control than before, and she seems to be singing with a lot of ease these days, and likt she's is putting less weight on her voice, making it sound lighter, less strained, and she seems to have an easier time hitting higher notes now.. During her " Demi" era she showed a lot of signs straining (due to her respiratory infection, and long tour) but she has been improving a lot since then! Especially with her falsetto! (Although that's not shown in the video) I will say there is something very emotional about the unbroken era I will always love! And I grew up to her Disney era so that has a special place in my heart too, I will say her vocal control was a little messy back then👀 Altogether I love her voice! It always gives me chills!


Also can I just say this video is VERY well made👏👏
