the biochip arc hit me SO hard. just watching fives piece everything together bit by bit and realize the truth.. it was so heartbreaking watching him lose everything to save his brothers and they still didn’t listen. 😭

Feel like Anakin heard this like he usually hears most things, emotionally.
If he listened to Fives objectively, gave it the thought it needed, didn’t hear a threat to kill the Jedi, more that the clones could (if told) turn around, aim their blasters at the generals they take orders from, the Jedi. Order 66 might’ve been very different

What’s so tragic is that this very easily could have averted order 66. Not even if they listened to Fives, I mean if Obi-wan was here, or talked to Rex and Anakin afterwards. He had a bad feeling about the clones from the beginning, but pushed it aside because they were needed. This could have been enough to get him investigating again, and if he did, he’d certainly figure it out.

Anakin and Rex listens to Fives, the Jedi Order investigates the situation and arrests Chancellor Palpatine before it's too late. And then, peace is restored again in the Galaxy with Bail Organa being the chancellor.

I wonder what was going through Anakin’s head as he was marching with the 501st to the Jedi Temple. I wonder if he had a short moment of realization that Fives was right about the inhibitor chips, and how that realization would’ve turned into twisted misplaced admiration towards Palpatine for thinking so far ahead.
