Hello friends! In today's sewing videos, I wanted to show you how to sew a v-neck collar in two ways: how to sew a traditional v-neck collar, and how to sew an easy v-neck collar. I hope this video was useful to you and that you picked up a few sewing tricks for your sewing repertoire! If you find this video useful, please don't forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe if you haven't already. Thank you so much, your support means everything to us!

After trying several different ways of doing the V-neck from other videos, this second explanation is the best, I think. I really would recommend, if you're looking to do another video on this technique, to just show more step-by-step ways of doing the second way, including which way the bias needs to go (where are the raw edges, etc.) and whether a smaller size of binding can be used. Great tutorial! Thank You!

I love the way you stay in the important details in your video. ❤

I like them both. The first one for a 'nicer' top and the second for a more 'sporty' top. Thank you.

This is a great tutorial. Very clear instructions and not too fast. I love the first one because even though it is a bit more fiddly, it gives a neater finish.

This is awesome! I was just talking to my friend who has a massive tshirt collection that she doesn't wear because the crew neck feels uncomfortable. I told her I would look into how to change them into V necks, and this was on my list! 😁

Fantastic !!! I struggled so much with my V-neck... even after lots of practice and videos. Cutting the V-line AFTER sewing the first half is brilliant and changes everything ! Thanks again for sharing ! Sophie

Wish I had seen this yesterday before trying to sew a "v" neckline using French Terry. Have unpicked it now and like both ways you have shown but for now will do the cross over "V" and retry with this method. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I like both, but I am thrilled you did a video on two ways to make this v-neck. I love to change my T-shirt necks, mostly just cutting and zig zag edges. Thank you 💕

This was the fourth tutorial on how to do a V neck—and it was by far the easiest and best! Thank you so much. Now I’m going to try it myself.

I like them both, but the first one looks more fashionable.
It's also more time consuming. Good job, keep it up.

I like both, but I think I will try the second one because I like that little "flap" look in the start of the V

Wow😮
I've never come across a simple but perfect v neck tutorial like this before 😊
I'm definitely going to try the both

Thank yoy for this video. I wasn't making a V neck but I had a V withing the middle of my pattern. I used the first example! Looks great. Thank you!

Oh wow, I actually like the 2nd one because it makes more sense to me. If anyone is bothered by the overlap in the 2nd one, you can just hand sew it down and make it invisible and then you won't have the overlap being obvious at all.

I have always struggled with this type of neckline. TY for your very simple and quick tutorial!!! I like either way, I guess it will depend on what fabric and the feel I want it to have. Thank you again for this tutorial and all that you have put out on YouTube. Your generous spirit shows through time and time again. ♥

Wow!!! What a wonderful technique. I'm still in the learning phase--just a few months in, and have made projects in the past--years ago--without knowing what I was doing. It turned out so-so. This information will be, I think, a game changer! Plus, your accent is adorable!

I like the clean, neat crossover of the second one best. I would always feel that there is a “pulling apart look” with the first way even if the thread color was the same.

I think you have made an outstanding instructional video of a difficult tasks finally make sense. I think the first way looks much more professional, and since you made it even look easy, this is the one I will attempt first. If I mess it up, then will try 2nd method. Boy have others onYT made this technique so confusing. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us.
