12 phpMyAdmin set password for root user

How to set a password for the root user in phpMyAdmin.

does this mean i have to set passwords for all the 'root' usernames? I set for only 1 of the root and big error occurred

But you have 3 users called “root”. Do you keep same password for three of them?

hi there, i followed exactly every single step that you show on the video, but when i go to change the password in the config.inc.php and i try to save it gives me an error: This operation couldn't be completed, because an error occurred. The authenticated save for this file failed (application error code 20004), and then i try to refresh phpmyadmin i get another error and i am stacked. I already uninstalled and reinstalled XAMPP twice and now i am going to do it for the third time. This is the error i get when i try to reload the phpmyadmin after the changes in your video: mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) Any helps? Thanks.

i didn't find password in config.inc.php file and i also lost the access to phpmyadmin
