After making the multi cam source sequence I pull it up in the source monitor, and then select from there select my in&out points, drag to timeline (by dragging it should layer every video and audio you have separately but fully synchronized). From there I make one layer above invisible, and then cut up the A and B camera throwing up to that invisible layer anything I don't want on screen. It's been a nice way to efficiently edit two cameras + audio.

Say I have 2 cameras in a multicam track, initially camera 1 is selected. When I hit space and start switching; when I hit "2", the cut and camera switch is made. BUT - it also switches the previous portion on the left side to Camera 2.
Every time I stop to review and make an adjustment, then restart my switching, the same happens - the pressing of the key both cuts to the alternative camera AND changes the camera selection before the first cut.

New to adobe and this thing is killin me. lol. I run up to 4 cameras currently for fishing and other vidoes. sometimes more than one camera is catching the action, but a lot of times only 1 or 2 of the 4 is getting the same time of footage. When I try multi cam it fails miserably. I'm not able to figure out how to use this properly to speed thing up over manually doing it all one clip at a a time.... Is there a way to drop them all on the timeline stacked and have it sync up what can be snyc'ed up?

I wish the workflow was in the Source (Top Left) section. I have a video that is largely one camera with a few shots using multiple. The work around seems to be to process the multicam cam, edit and export, then add it into the larger single camera video timeline.

Hey wonderful video! I have a question. How do you add split screen when editing that multi cam sequence

Thank you for the explanation, but how do you change the camera order?

Is there a way to set up a split-screen option in the multicam sequence so that you can hop from a 2 or more shot during an exchange and a one-shot when an individual is speaking? Much like you would see during a live panel discussion/interview on cable news? It is easy when editing a Zoom video in which you use both gallery view and active speaker, but what about when you do not have a preset gallery view on the timeline?

Hi, what if all my clips and audio already have been synched by Pluraleyes?
Is there a way to MC them without synching again?

nope did not work for me. I have a 2 camera edit. I want Cam1 video and audio, Cam2 video only. Processed kept giving me Cam2 audio and video.

How do I colour grade each camera individually?

Doesn't fucking work...lol. For me only one camera out of 5 shows up in the multicam viewer and it won't open re-open into individual tracks in timeline as yours does...I'm doing the same EXACT thing you are. But good video.
