GPIC 2023: Session 2.4 UNFCCC – Synergies between financial mechanism & technology mechanism

The session served as a platform for targeted and technical discussions, highlighting the crucial role of the private sector in the development, transfer, adoption, and diffusion of climate technologies. It emphasised how the private sector can contribute to enhancing linkages and coherence between various climate actions mobilized under the UNFCCC Financial Mechanism and Technology Mechanism, in line with the existing mandates originating from relevant governing bodies, including COP.
