Wow, that's wow. Never in my life have I been emotionally moved like this. The way this story challenges contemporary narrative structures to make a tale so lifelike it could pass as a biographical account is stunning. The way emotions flow, not as a plateau, but like a boat in a roaring ocean, waving up and down with the tides, it's unbelievable. And don't get me started on Jumbo Josh himself. The emotional variety of Mr. Josh is a site to behold. Sadness, joyfulness, curiosity, rage, and forgiveness are all emotions Jumbo Josh displays throughout this piece. The way Jumbo Josh's inner feelings and emotions are displayed is awe-inspiring. I mean this with no exaggeration; this film could have *literally* just been Jumbo Josh with no one else in sight, and it would've been a masterpiece up there with the likes of Citizen Kane and the entirety of The Godfather trilogy. But that wasn't enough. While having one of the best-written characters in cinema history, there's ADDITIONALLY an immeasurable dichotomy of characters to add. The friends, Mr. Josh, and the military: all three add remarkable depth to the story I believe has never been seen in film. Watching the characters grow and develop left me awe-struck in the end.

I feel unworthy to have watched this film. Bravo.
