This thing is by far the most reliable tractor I own. Always starts no matter what the weather, always works no matter what, and it very rarely ever has any problems other then with the electrical system. That's always filled with bugs and issues. But what do you expect for 1967 right? This thing really makes a wonderful cut too perfectly level and very nice looking. And being that it weighs 850 lbs it's got no problem pulling up hills and what not. Anyways, thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed!

We still have grandma's old Jacobsen Chief. It kept throwing the deck belt, so we gave up on using it sometime in the 1980's.

Hey that's a great looking Chief. I have the same one and it's awesome. Let me know what you need to lift the deck. I'll send you a picture of the lifting part that I built out of aluminum and clevis pins a couple of weeks ago, I know nothing about metal work but it was really easy to make.
You'll probably have to clean the sliding assembly underneath the two vertical pulleys that you can see at 2minutes and 54 seconds in your video. if that can't slide, you wont be lifting it. I finally got a deck for mine; I have to flip the tires to Narrow for the 42" deck cause the chains catch the deck edge
