My favorite point in Terraria progression is the very beginning of Hardmode, when the whole game changes and it feels almost like you're starting from scratch in a sequel. This music captures that moment very well.

The sky is filled with rainbows, the forests are whimsically colored, fresh clean and sweet air, the deserts are pearly white, the fields are vibrant and filled with unicorns. The Hallow is truly the spirit of light; pixies, unicorns, rainbow slimes, chaos elementals(spectral ones too in console), illuminant bats and slimes, and flying gastropods call this land home. The rocks are pearlstone and deep underground grow crystals that glow and glimmer, this is truly a beautiful land of deciving appearances. make no mistake, just because light is the opposite of dark doesn't mean that this land is "good". The Hallow spreads with the same virulence as the spirit of darkness, it will transform all the world into a dangerous land of fairy tale, despite being habitable, notice that all creatures here still want to kill you.

I love the way the Hallow looks so much! It's my favorite biome in terms of appearance. But, dang! Those fairies are beyond annoying!

Let me try describing the Hallow.

After you punch the ultimate resident of Hell (WoF) into March 32nd, it throws up rainbows onto the land like that one gnome from Gravity Falls. This makes a majestic land of rainbows and pure sweetness. This place is super pure. Like, SUPER pure. And when you step onto it, the biome deems you impure, and then a unicorn proceeds to skewer you on it's horn like a kebab at a barque.

i still remember the first time they added hardmode in terraria and beating the wall of flesh. going to the surface and see rainbows and this music.

"Well how this can be so bad? looks happy and nice? oh look an unicorn it cant be a bad creature" and then it charges toward me and i get one shotted. "what the heck??"

Why is nobody talking about how there’s two new styles for the hallow trees? One that’s pastel colored and the other is a more spiky variant. I also find it cool how the trees only change with the background compared to the actual tree globe lol
