Yezdi 350 Twin Review

This is my 1987 model Yezdi 350 Twin, based on the Jawa 634 motorcycle. It was a good runner. Still i had to do some kind of restoration after i purchased it a couple of months ago. Did a much needed cosmetic make over. Also rebored the cylinders to the next Oversize using new pistons. Completely changed the wiring kit , cdi & all other electricals.

Front: telescopic, hydraulic - 130mm travel
Rear: hydraulic adjustable - 100mm travel

BRAKES

Front: Twin cam 200mm drum
Rear: Single cam 160mm drum
Braking: Using both brakes 9.5 Mtrs from 40KMPH

WHEELS

Front 3.00-18"
Rear 3.25-18"

WEIGHT

Dry- 152 Kgs
Wet- 162 Kgs [including fuel]

My O My... Man i ve been Restoring my dads Yezdi 250 Classic. Me & my Friends alway talked about this 350 CC Monster, we are the 21 century boys So never saw it existing on Roads & With time i developed a perception that The old model of JAWA is 350CC. but today, After seeing your post i just met the real Beast.

My Mama had this bike in his shop. He sold this bike 10 years ago to kabadi wala. Today I hv much love for this bike. My uncle is a top mechanic from Lucknow. Currently he is working on BSA 1950 model and bullet 150 and 500 cc which belongs to 1954 models.

Have so many memories of me sitting on the tank of the machine that was owned by my Dad .

It rumbled like nothing I will ever hear again, it roared my want for motorcycles into me.I was so sad when my Dad brought home a RD350 and let this kind of machinery go.

Well now all of them are gone - Yezdi 350, RD350 and Suzuki Shogun - the rides of my dad in his youth.

Now I am stuck with a KTM.

My dad said, it had 'Made in Czechoslovakia ' inscription somewhere. He too misses his bike and hence have bought a Skoda as the family car.

Among old bikes...I had the Yezdi 250 and currently have only the RD 350 with me...

I test rode this bike about 8 years ago and was very impressed by it. The bike was in perfect stock condition and the seller quoted Rs. 75, 000 at the time. Ultimately, I decided to go for an RE Machismo instead. I very much like my Bullet, but constantly regret not buying the Yezdi 350 when I had the chance at such a reasonable rate. Now, finding one itself is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Hey buddie! Really felt very happy to see it for the first time. Literally i didn't know that this bike existed. Beautiful sound to ears. I have a yezdi roadking 1980 model which my father gifted me on my 18th birthday. Really we ppl are lucky to have such priceless motorcycles.
