Star Voyager

Comedy/Drama (1978) Mike Zorac is a brilliant and incredibly rich scientist, who lives on the moon, protecting earth from alien enemies. Star Voyager was only the director's second film he had ever made, shot on 8mm film. It was last seen in 1984...now rediscovered and restored, with entire scenes recreated from the damaged film strips, to once again tell the tale, with tongue firmly in cheek.

Wait this was your second film?! It’s extremely good for only your second attempt at making a film and it’s still amazing. I do have one question however. Who was the actor that played Mike?

I made Super 8 films in the same era, so I was tickled to see the footage. I was hoping to see the original version without a "special edition" treatment. And how did you transfer the footage?

Nice restoration! My only suggestion is that you add a grain filter to the inserted shots so that it is consistent with the original 8mm film. Methinks someone was a bit excited after Star Wars came out.
