I have that salad spinner and it's the best. I never wash it I just rinse it. But I use it to spin all sorts of stuff that I have rinsed. I also only push the thing down once stop it then do it again. It works good for me lol

pro tip for the salad spinner. If you dont like it for greens use it to "hand wash" your bras. Its gentle and extends the life of the bras and then you just air dry them after the spin.

I want you to blow up, finding your niche that’s the hard part. You are a great speaker and I love to watch your unboxing videos but maybe this is what will get you to the next level to more subs . (As long as this makes you happy too) Wishing you the best still (what almost 3 years almost ? ) wow ! I know once people find you they will love your videos ! I am shocked it has taken this long honestly and then there dummy’s who have a mill of subs and I can’t figure it out . Your time is coming girl keep up your positive vibes I love it !😊

I love how you analyze everything to be not only pretty but PRACTICAL. Like trying to shock the glass measuring cup, and testing the measuring spoons to fit. So many videos they just love everything based on looks alone and the items aren’t practical!

Target does sell the egg maxing. Picked up the dinosaur one during Easter clearance last year. Can’t wait to use it this weekend.

The Salad Spinner needs more than 20 seconds of spinning to shake off the water. Also, there's a smaller version that may work better for you and not take up as much storage space. You can also use it to spin cooked pasta (while still saving pasta water that when added to pasta sauce thickens it and makes it stick better to the pasta), spinning the water off of eggplant and other raw veggies salted to extract moisture, shaking water off broccoli and other hard veggies after rinsing, and spinning off any missed tiny stones from soaked dry beans before cooking.

You can keep your brown or white sugar soft by place a fresh slice of bread on top before sealing in a bag or container. The bread passes its moisture to the sugar without imparting any change in flavor.

The fancy-schmancy iridescent-gold pressed-glass coffee cups could probably be kept warm on a coffee-warmer plate. They make them both independent plug-in and USB-plug into your computer...

The new glass measuring cup looks awfully fragile as well as likely too heavy when filled for the skinny handle. Borosilicate does not strike me as 'stronger glass'. Please keep us apprised as to whether it fails over time.

I've heard bad things about the ScrubDaddy/Mommy sponges. I personally don't see the appeal. I was an early fan of the Dobie pad (a quality sponge encased in a woven plastic 'envelope'). Unfortunately, Dobie increased the size, which makes it more expensive and less useful, but Kroger put out a twin of the original and that's the pad/sponge I use now. Inexpensive, long-lasting, does an excellent job of general washing and scouring both.

The clip-on pot drainer is a waste. If you have a collapsible silicone colander with a handle, that works just as well. If you buy a small sieve stainless steel insert to fit your pot or that is paired with a pot, you can boil or steel food in the sieve and just lift it out when it's done. Better than dealing with splashing boiling water.

Oh, and scale on your kitchen gadgets: soak overnight in white vinegar (buy by the gallon at the Dollar Store). Washes right off.

I have a set of those magnetic measuring spoons; quality item! Mine are a different color (there's a large variety), but I love them.

If you don't want to pay out for another kitchen gadget to have to monitor, or you're trying to avoid encouraging plastic occurring in the world and especially in your home, you can make 'practice chopsticks) by just putting a rubber band on the end of a pair of chopsticks.

FYI salad spinners come in handy for spin drying your hand washed under clothing, just don’t use it for clothes and food.

I loved the measuring spoons, the coffee mugs, the little ramekins with lids, the popsicle holder! Great finds!

I love the measuring spoons. When I am baking a lot of times I use the round end for wet ingredients and the oval end for dry ingredients 😊

I have the Oxo salad spinner, and it cracked early on, it’s huge and awkward and really difficult to clean the lid.
