I've been racking my brain for a while as to what all the different sub-names meant for suspension components. (Rhythm, Performance... ) So, as someone who's still going through their learning curve, you get a HUGE thanks.

This was very well explained.

👌👏👏👏

I tried Fox when I started to mountain bike and made me fall in love with mountain biking. So team Fox for me!

As a roadie I really appreciate this video. It came up as a sponsored ad but I couldn't leave a comment. I searched for it separately because I found it totally illuminating. I own a bike shop that is roadie focused but from time to time I have to field questions about forks/shocks. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into making this video!

I used to be a RS fan. But, when I bought a new Trek EXe, I made the switch to Fox and I’m never going back. Fox suspension is super easy to set up and it just works better and it’s more tunable.

Ive supported the shock industry since the beginning. Id say that they got things dialed around mid 2010s.
Before then. It didn't take much to blow out the internals with some aggressive riding. Rebuilds were common after a weekend or two of riding. Now days, i can go a couple seasons before a rebuild is needed. Though to be fair. Im not casing jumps like when I started 😅

I’ve ran top spec kashima 34 160mm and top spec Lyrik 180mm IMHO Fox felt better initially but needed serviced fairly regularly to maintain the feel, I’ve had my 180mm Lyrik for 2 years and it still doesn’t need serviced, so it’s rockshox for me 💯

There used to be another … long ago. I’m still using a marzocchi fork on one of my bikes.

I just serviced my 2008 Rock Shox Recon for the first time. The oil was not even dirty inside. no bushing play. I love the lower end forks by rock shox and fox for the simple reliability. They may not be the best, but they save me money in the long run not having to source a 17 year old rubber bladder.

I have a RZR with Fox Live valve x3 suspension and it is amazingly plush and I just bought A transition MTB with Fox shocks knowing it will be plush.

Manitou. I really don’t know which one I would go with if I had to choose RS/Fox. They’re both doing some interesting things lately

ROCK SHOX, mas variedad de repuestos, mecanica mas simple, mantenciones las hago yo mismo, repuestos de bajo valor, en gama alta son excepcionales por el precio que cuestan.

Rockshox because the fonts are edgier and more badass.

Don't forget the Rockshox Domain, mine has a Zeb charger 2.1

I run a rockshox right now, simply because I got an amazing deal on a fork that I just couldn't pass up and rockshox was pre installed in the rear. but I still prefer the feel of a fox fork. and I can't even put my finger on it, they just feel that little biit better in my opinion.

so what is my next step you might ask? the answer is a Cane creek coil shock in the rear to make my bike into even more of a frankenbike.
